Trim represents the reshaping of something into it's adequate size by removing any excess and focusing on it's core, drowning out the surrounding noise.

With the overbearing amount of information flooding our everyday it seems hard to find a balance between creativity and workflow but most importantly to find that which distinguishes us within our craft.

Reducing my scope helped me return to a place where raw sound takes front stage instead of being lost between technique and hardware. In that sense my focus was on using minimalist ideas to fuel creativity both in the recording and composition stages by focusing on the overall ambiance of a track and drawing out its potential.
